I keep having issues with the database. I don’t know if it’s webhostingpad or if it’s something else. But other than that, it’s a great value.

Here are the cold hard facts. First of all, I would admit that the price is hard to beat and say that you won’t find a better price, hands down. But it does come with some gripes.

I work as a programmer, and as a programmer I found that they were lacking in the tech support area. They couldn’t help me to get my python scripts up and running correctly. I eventually figured out myself in a few hours, but it took me a while. They did try to help, but didn’t have the expertise I did. Not unusual.

Also, the way they can charge so cheap is that they make you pay for any upgrades. SSH, 20 bucks more. And Unlimited Storage is not unlimited. It’s only 10 GB. Basically the value is great, but if you want more stuff, I would go with another webhost.

I have admittingly tried many hosting providers. I thought that 2 bucks a month was such a joke, I couldn’t believe it. I signed up for the 3-year plan and can’t believe they have proved to be my favorite hosting providrer. I just bought more accounts and transferred them from my expensive hosting providers.
